We are a small, woman-owned business that creates art and hand-made clay figurines. We take special pride in building a whole world around our unique characters.

Who is Uncanny Clay?

We are Christie and Aubrey! A mom and daughter combo that comes up with ideas and characters to share with you all! Together we create digital character designs to make into clay figurines, design sticker sheets, packaging, and graphic design elements like the ones you see right here on this website!

How does it work?

We start out with an idea. A sketch is made, then we sit down and turn it into a 3D creation made of clay. Once we are happy with the outcome, it goes into the oven to bake the clay and solidify it. Some creations may need to be baked several times, as detailed layers are added. After the piece cools, we sand the surface, and make sure no cracks happened during the baking process. If the piece needs to be painted, we make sure that is done before moving on to glazing. UV resin is poured onto the creation and it goes under a UV light to cure. The piece is then finished and waits patiently for you to decide if it will be a keychain or a co-pilot!
